This edition of Dune, published in 1978, is the same as any other edition of Dune, except that it has illustrations and is extremely hard to find. All of the illustrations, including the cover art, were drawn by John Schoenherr, the same man who has drawn cover after cover for many of the Dune books. Many pictures are black & white, and a few are in color. Illustrations include sketches of Stilgar, sandworms, and the Arrakeen Palace, just to name a few.
